Behaviour

How well children behave in school is, without doubt, linked to how well they achieve. Pupils who behave well, display a positive mindset and have a good attitude towards school do well. Pupils who choose to behave poorly struggle to meet the expectations set by their teachers and can disrupt the learning of other children. No child has the right to do this. We, as a staff, work hard to ensure that behaviour is always good in our school. Where it isn't, we employ the approach and systems set out in our Behaviour Policy -  see below. 

Parents play a key role in how well their children behave and we ask our parents to reinforce the message that everyone has the right to feel and be safe, to learn and to be treated with respect. No-one has the right to remove these from another individual.
